Report a Minor Crime

Report a Minor Crime

In an effort to bring a level of convenience to citizens of the City of Gering, the Gering Police Department is implementing a new platform that the public can utilize to report minor crimes that are not in progress.

The form below is in no way intended to take the place of calling 911 during an emergency or to report a crime in progress. We want citizens to use the 911 system for notifying law enforcement, fire or EMS of an emergency. The form is intended to give citizens the opportunity to notify the Gering Police Department of a crime that was committed without having to call the Communications Center and have an officer come to a residence.

After the form is submitted online, Police personnel will contact the reporting party with follow-up questions or to gather specific information that is needed.
