TEMPORARY POWER OUTAGE IN THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF GERING

GERING –The City of Gering is aware of and currently working on a power outage in the

Meadows Subdivision and surrounding area in Gering.  City officials estimate power to be

out for another two to three hours.  The outage is due to an electrical switch cabinet that 

burned up unexpectedly; City crews are replacing the cabinet and will restore power as

soon as possible. The City apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks residents for their

patience and understanding.
