                                                                   TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WEST U STREET IN GERING

GERING – City of Gering officials would like to inform citizens that West U Street, from Five Rocks Road to the Common Grounds Dog Park, 

will be closed beginning Friday, August 28, at 2:30 p.m., for a water main replacement. It is expected to reopen on Sunday, August 30, at 12 noon.  

The dog park can still be accessed by using the Canal Road. City Officials respectfully request that drivers and pedestrians use caution when traveling

in this area and to use alternate routes.
