                  Gering New Year’s Day Garbage Route

The City of Gering offices will be closed Thursday, January 1, 2026 in observance of New Year’s Day. City of Gering 
Residential and Commercial customers normally collected on Thursday will be collected on Friday, January 2, 2026. 
Residential customers need to be aware that collection may be later than normal due to the holiday. 
All commercial cardboard will be collected on Friday, January 2, 2026.

REMINDER:  Yard waste collection season ended November 21, 2025. If the green container needs emptied, please
contact your city offices. Green containers are for yard waste only.
