ELECTRIC POWER UPDATE – CITY OF GERING

GERING – City of Gering Officials would like to update citizens regarding Western Area Power Agency’s ongoing repairs to the main breakers that feed Gering’s electrical system.  

Gering is continuing to transfer all electric power load from two of WAPA’s breakers to one breaker.  Gering officials are hopeful WAPA’s repairs will be completed by Friday, May 29.  

City of Gering Electric Department personnel will be on standby for any outages that may occur and will respond as quickly as possible.   

City officials appreciate everyone’s cooperation, assistance, and patience as Gering works with WAPA to mitigate the current power upgrades.
