City of Gering lifts request for voluntary reduction of water use

                                                        CITY OF GERING LIFTS REQUEST FOR VOLUNTARY

                              REDUCTION OF WATER USE AND EXTENDS APPRECIATION TO THE PUBLIC

GERING – City of Gering officials are lifting a request for voluntarily reduction of water use.  City Administrator, Pat Heath, stated “The City of Gering 

extends its sincere gratitude to all residents and businesses for their cooperation over the past several months in voluntarily reducing water usage. 

Your collective efforts have made a measurable difference and prevented the implementation of mandatory water restrictions.  City staff now feel 

comfortable in lifting the voluntary water use restrictions, effective immediately.”
