                                                                                                ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION IN GERING

GERING:  Please join the Gering Park, Cemetery and Tree Board for an Arbor Day Celebration and tree planting on Friday, April 24, 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Northfield Park & Charlie Fenster Arboretum on the west side by the foot bridge.

The City of Gering annually celebrates tree planting.  Trees are a valuable resource to our community as they clean the air, capture and filter rainwater, provide habitat for wildlife, shade our homes and provide a great quality of life for Gering residents.  Please join the Parks, Cemetery and Tree Board along with 4^th graders from Northfield Elementary School to enjoy an Arbor Day program.
