Gering is rich in history and lies just east of Scotts Bluff National

Monument, a well-known landmark on the Oregon Trail.  Gering

is located in Western Nebraska's Scotts Bluff County just 40 miles

north of I-80. It is centrally located between the Colorado Front

Range, Yellowstone National Park and Mt. Rushmore.
